Expertise: Travel and Tourism


Andra Joefield is currently employed with the Tobago House of Assembly. She has been active in the area of Event Planning and was instrumental in the successful planning and executing of the Tobago House of Assembly Youth Parliament (Tobago Youth Leg) for the 20th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) held in Trinidad and Tobago, in 2009.

She received a BA in Business Administration from the University of Hertfordshire and the MSc in Tourism Marketing from the University of the West Indies – Cave Hill Campus – Barbados. She then became an intern at the Caribbean Tourism Organisation in the Sustainable Department after which she wrote her thesis entitled – Medical Spa Tourism: Its impact on domestic tourism in Trinidad and Tobago.

Her future aspiration is to be a major contributor to the fast growing tourism industry in her country being infused into the newly created Tobago Tourism Agency Limited. Her areas of interests are Sustainable Tourism and Product Development.
