Biography: Dr. Anand Kishore Kola is a Professor and former Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Warangal, India. He has more than 19 years of experience in teaching different Chemical Engineering courses and Research since 26.02.1999 to till date at the Department of Chemical Engineering, National Institute of Technology (Formerly Regional Engineering College), Warangal, TS, India. He was awarded the Vidya Ratna award by Bharathiya Dali Sahithya Academy, New Delhi, Outstanding Scientist Award in Engineering - 2015 by Venus International Foundation Chennai, Certificate of Merit award for the paper ‘Optimization of Process Variables of Citric Acid Production using Aspergillus Niger in a Batch Fermentor’ presented in the International Conference on Chemical Engineering, San Francisco, USA, Oct 2008 and the Best Teacher Award - 2015 by Rotary Club, Hanmakonda. He has been awarded with a patent also for the work carried-out for IG Mint Hyderabad on “Development of pickling and polishing compound for improved coin quality and pollution control” was awarded on 11th October, 2017 with docket No. 63217. He has over 70 research publications in international/national journals & conferences. He is a member of the Telangana State Pollution Control Board and is a BoS member of the Departments of Chemical Engineering, IIIT Nuzvid and IIIT Srikakulam, AP. He is also an editorial board member of International journal of General Engineering and Technology and International Journal of Chemical Sciences and Applications, a BioIT international journal. He has done multiple R&D projects and consultancy projects.
