Title: Morphological examination of biofouling industrialized on cathode superficial

Abstract: Morphological examination of biofouling industrialized on cathode superficial in an air-cathode microbial petroleum cell (MFC) was achieved. For sustaining power manufacture and ornamental Coulombic efficiency (CE) of MFC studies were showed to constrain cathode biofouling using dissimilar loadings of silver nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) with 5% and 10% Ag in carbon black powder. In MFC without using Ag-NPs in cathode (MFC-C), cathode biofouling augmented the charge transmission confrontation (Rct) from 1710Ω.cm2 to 2409Ω.cm2, and abridged CE by 32%; whereas in MFC with 10% Ag in cathode Rct enlarged by only 5%. Control thickness of 7.9±0.5W/m3 in MFC using 5% Ag and 9.8±0.3W/m3 in MFC using 10% Ag in cathode was 4.6 and 5.7-folds higher than MFC-C, results suggest that the Ag-NPs successfully constrain the fungal biofouling on cathode surface of MFCs and heightened the influence recovery and CE by refining cathode kinetics.,
