Biography:

Dr. Padmanabhan Nair is a Founder and President of the NonInvasive Technologies, LLC, Columbia, company, has over 45 years of research experience in the biomedical field. He has held several key positions in academia and in the US government. He was a Fulbright scholar to the Johns Hopkins University at the McCollum-Pratt Institute, elected Fellow of the AAAS and is a member of several prestigious professional societies. For 21 years he was Director of Medical Research at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. For over a decade he was associated with the USDA's Beltsville Human Nutrition Research Center. Currently, He is a Adjunct Professor of International Health at the Johns Hopkins University, USA. Over a period of 55 years, have been awarded grants and contracts from government and industrial organizations. As Director of the Division of Medical Research and Head of Biochemical Research, Sinai Hospital, Baltimore (1963 - 1983) he had the responsibility of obtaining extramural funds to support a research program involving a large number of clinical (MDs) and non-clinical (Ph.Ds) investigators. He has been responsible for the formulation of new approaches in the areas of dietary lipids and their influence on human health, especially as related to dietary factors in the causation or prevention of chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, including colon cancer. Dr. Nair is the author and coauthor of 200+ peer-reviewed articles & book chapters and participated as a Keynote speaker in many National & International conferences and Ten US Patents which have been issued in Australia and China.
