Abudukeremu Kadier received his BSc degree in Agricultural Chemistry from Xinjiang Agricultural University (XJAU), Urumqi, Xinjiang, China in July 2009 and MSc degree (Chemical and Process Engineering) from National University of Malaysia (UKM), Selangor, Malaysia in July 2015. He is currently pursuing his PhD degree in Chemical and Process Engineering at The National University of Malaysia (UKM) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohd Sahaid Kalil. His research areas of specialisation include Hydrogen production, Microbial Electrolysis Cell (MEC), Dark fermentation (DF), Renewable electricity generation, Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC), Green energy and fuel, Waste disposal strategies, Catalyst for hydrogen evaluation reaction (HER), Sustainable bioenergy production, Microbial electrochemistry, Waste and wastewater treatment, Reactor Design for bioelectrochemical wastewater treatment. He has presented his work at several major national and international conferences. He is currently a student member of International Association for Hydrogen Energy (IAHE), associate member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (AMRSC), UK, and life member of International Society for Microbial Electrochemistry and Technologies (ISMET).
