Biography: Paul Awoyera is a receiver of 2016 Commonwealth Scholarship Award for a PhD research tenable at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. He currently holds a Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in structures. Until year 2013 when he joined Covenant University, Nigeria as a Lecturer, he has successfully worked on numerous projects on the field involving structural design, building construction, subsoil investigation, concrete waterproofing and non destructive testing. He is an author or co-author of over 20 peer-reviewed scientific papers and a reviewer for some reputable international journals. His pedagogical interest include but not limited to; structural health monitoring and condition assessment of the civil infrastructures, non destructive testing/evaluation of reinforced concrete structures, forensic investigation on structural materials at high temperature, and use of recycled materials in civil engineering. He is a registered Engineer with Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), and a corporate member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE).,
